The spirit of the Host Leadership gathering in Sofia

This blog post has the important task of closing the series of posts which, since June 2024, have been taking us back to the Host Leadership Gathering in Sofia. It is different from the other posts in that it brings together, in one single video, short excerpts from as many as four workshops having taken place on the first day of the Gathering. My best hope is that you will notice the vibes and the energy the people created among themselves.

Rolf Katzenberger’s Hosting the Résistance sought to find answers to how the roles and positions of Host Leadership can be useful in keeping up community.

Turning Teachers into Leaders featured Marina Marinova’s work on the need to redefine the roles of teachers and, indeed, take care of how they can transform themselves into leaders.

Veronika Jungwirth and Dr. Ralph Miarka asked the people in their workshop  – Gatekeeping, the Tricky Part of Being a Host Leader, to explore the  numerous aspects of Gatekeeping as one of the six important roles of Host Leadership.

Jaione and Leah drew the attention of the participants to the dynamics of working with multiple other hosts, where kindness, connection, and care for how others feel, mattered a lot.

Should anything grab your curiosity, you are welcome to contact me and we’ll talk about everything that you want to know.
